New submachine gun, snap turns, weapons to pick up (and drop), and more! Battle Arena VR got a new public update and it has lots of features based on your valuable feedback. Please continue to provide it because this is what shapes the game:
**What's New**
1. New weapon - Laser Submachine Gun, low impact, high precision, very easy to hit a target from any distance but probably not the best weapon to kill it, because of low damage. Great to use it when you need to finish an enemy after 2 railgun/rocket hits.
2. Snap turns support, 45 degrees each direction, use the right thumbstick.
3. Laser aim for the linker! That grapple needs some precision.
4. [Steam Only] Support for HTC Vive and Valve Index devices. We know that snap turns would help not to hang yourself in the play area but without working controllers it was useless. But not any longer.
5. Audio is coming from headphones if connected, no more speakers!
6. Change your weapon with the right controller buttons (next/previous), because the thumbstick is taken by snap turns.
7. Weapon drop from your enemy. If someone steals your gun, now you can take it back, all you need to do... well, you know :)
8. Mute your mic with the left controller Y button, because the right controller buttons are taken by the weapon switch.
9. Railgun is not available by default, you need to pick it up. Every map has at least one spot with this powerful weapon, respawn every 30 seconds.
10. Plasma registers hits with insane precision, which makes it a very powerful weapon in close combat, you still need at least 5 hits (20% each) to kill an enemy, but it's much easier to do now. We have also made plasma flames smaller so you are blinded by incoming plasma beamы.
11. Announce (voiceover) to everyone when a real player joins or leaves the game, very convenient to know when your real opponent is in the game or left you.
12. Fix a visual artifact when a dead player moves to a new location, it used to be visible for a fraction of a second but not any longer.
13. Fix an ability to add bots during team play, when they were not assigned to a team on a non-master host.
14. Disable shadows for your laser aim, it's a laser, it shouldn't have a shadow, right?
15. Fix small level inconsistencies and artifacts.
