Thank you very much to the 177 backers who supported our crowdfunding campaign! Although our crowdfunding attempt was unsuccessful, we are extremely grateful for everyone's support and companionship along the way.
Due to limited resources, after the official release, we will revisit our development plan for additional DLCs. Please continue to follow us on our official Bilibili channel or Youtube channel, and we will keep you informed of any progress!
This week, we continue to make final adjustments for the official release. Based on the community’s feedback, we have made significant changes to the Mechanism of Inner Demons, primarily reducing their attack desires to alleviate the pressure in the early layers of the seal:
- First Seal: Summon a random NPC defeated by the player in the current game for each card played.
- Second Seal: Absorb 1 Strength and 1 Tenacity from all player characters for each card played.
- Third Seal: Inflict 3 Poison on the player for each card played and grant the player 1 Energy Absorption.
- Fourth Seal: Randomly add a Curse card to the player's draw pile for each card played.
- Fifth Seal: Release an AOE attack for each card played, activating all effects from layers 1 to 4.
We have also revamped the talent tree for Faithful Devil:
- Infinite Demon Scroll Vol I: A talent tailored for Curse-oriented build. Whenever you apply 1 layer of Curse to any unit, an additional layer of Curse is applied. This helps to compensate for the slow stacking of curses.
- Infinite Demon Scroll Vol II: Whenever you expend a card, it deals damage to all cursed enemies. The damage is equal to the target's curse count raised to the power of 0.7. In essence, you can trigger this effect with almost every card played, except for companions or non-expendable neutral cards. This improves the damage output for Curse-oriented build and allows for various combos with fairies (assuming the fairies have curses).
- Transcendence Scroll Vol I: It partially compensates for Faithful Devil’s lack of defense when not equipped with the Primordial Golden Battle Treasure. The specific conversion ratio is the number of cards in the expenditure pile raised to the power of 0.8.
- Transcendence Scroll Vol II: Increases the number of cards drawn per turn, further reducing the possibility of sudden defeat and providing more room for error.
Other adjustments:
- Chaos Spell now lasts for 3 rounds, ensuring the true identity of the mole and effectively dealing with the highest-attacking enemy.
- Bottle of Light and Shadow now consume all curses in hand at the end of the round, eliminating the situation of being stuck with a hand full of curse cards.
- Swine King’s talent that increases HP has been modified. Volume I now increases Strength by 2, and Volume II increases Strength by 3.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed the layout issue with detailed status information.
