Hello, Wanderers!
The wait is over—Fallen Tear: The Ascension 1.0 is officially available now!
Today marks one of the biggest and most emotional moments in the history of our team at CMD Studios.
To our 3,002 Kickstarter backers who believed in us from the very beginning, our Early Access players who helped us improve the game through their feedback and bug reports, and every member of our community who continued to encourage us throughout this journey—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Together, we have finally reached the finish line.
But this is not the end. It is the beginning of another marathon, and we are incredibly excited to take the next steps together with all of you.

Important Information for Early Access Players
Early Access save files can be carried over and used in Version 1.0. However, we cannot guarantee that existing Early Access saves will remain completely free from progression or compatibility issues.
The full game introduces many changes to progression, balancing, quests, features, and the structure of the early-game experience. Because some Early Access systems and content are no longer fully compatible with Version 1.0, continuing an existing save may result in unexpected issues later in the game.
For the best and most stable experience, we highly recommend deleting all EA save files and starting a fresh save file when playing Version 1.0.
The opening portion of the game has also changed significantly. The world is now more open and gives players greater freedom to explore, compared with the more limited and semi-linear progression available during Early Access. Starting fresh will allow you to experience the complete journey as it was designed for the full release.
Known Issues and Areas We Are Continuing to Improve
Our team has worked tirelessly to make Version 1.0 the best experience possible in terms of gameplay, content, stability, and optimization.
At the same time, we know there is always room for improvement—especially now that many more players will be exploring the complete world and discovering situations that our internal testing may not have encountered.
The following areas remain under active review:
Occasional frame-rate drops or performance hiccups in certain areas
Balancing for some bosses
Balancing for Hira’s Masteries
Adjustments to the in-game economy
Missing voice-over lines in some sections
Missing sound effects in some situations
Additional vibration options
Text-size and readability improvements for Steam Deck
We will closely monitor reports from the community and address priority issues through post-launch updates.
If you encounter a bug, performance issue, or anything that negatively affects your experience, please share as much information as possible with us. Your reports will help our team investigate and resolve issues more effectively.
What Comes Next?
Version 1.0 is a major milestone, but our work on Fallen Tear: The Ascension does not end today.
Beginning on Day One, our team will be:
Closely monitoring player feedback and bug reports
Prioritizing issues that require immediate attention
Continuing to polish performance, balance, and the overall player experience
Beginning development on a free post-launch content update
We are committed to continuing our work and making the world of Raoah even better.
Console Release and Physical Editions
We are also working to bring Fallen Tear: The Ascension to:
PlayStation 5
Xbox Series X|S
Nintendo Switch
Nintendo Switch 2
Our current target for the console release is Q2 2027, and yes—physical editions are planned.
We will share a separate announcement with the complete console release details, including platforms, timing, physical editions, and availability, once everything is ready.
