In this update Monkey King is getting a buff: we’ve patched up his weak spots and made his attacks more effective. We’re also introducing a new mechanic regarding shadow form, and are slightly adjusting Butcher, Marcus and Sarge accordingly. Additionally, we’re reducing the attributes’ increase for each account level in order to make the gameplay experience for novices more comfortable.
General changes
New mechanic: when heroes enter shadow form, their regular attacks start dealing increased shadow damage. Shadow power attribute does not affect these attacks’ shadow damage and is only used to calculate damage for shadow abilities.
Dev note:
This change will not affect Sarge and Butcher, their attacks will continue to scale with shadow power when in shadow form.
Attributes increase for each account level:
+10%→ +5%
Dev note:
We’ve raised base attributes for all heroes to account for this change. As a result, hero attributes remain unchanged for a level 13 account, but have significantly increased for a level 1 account.
