It's weekly update time and I've just released version 0.0.5 of Pingers to Steam!
I've made some big progress this week with the sound for the game. Pingers now has 2 new tracks, one for the ingame menus and the other for the game itself. Check out the latest version to hear the new music! As well as this, I have also added a plethora of much needed sound effects to the game, finally!
On the visual side I have two topics to call out, a new menu background and the options menu which you can see below.

- Tweaked the powerup spawn rate from 10 seconds to 6 seconds
- Changed the ramp up of difficulty so that the game gets harder faster
- Fixed control mapping when using multiple controllers so that players have sensible controls!
- Attempted to add more sophisticated error reporting, but ran into SSL issues, to be revisited
- Created new steam store and library assets, updated with the new look and feel of the game
Whats coming up?
- Steam Leaderboards
- Steam Achievements
- New faces and hats!
