What's shakin', bacon?
Sorry we've been quite, its been a hectic couple of weeks at Playstark and PQube, with lots of changes and development updates happening in tandem. Here's what we've been up to!
First, the incredible Tom Waterhouse at 2D Forever has redesigned our key art - and we couldn't be happier with it. It encapsulates the game perfectly, and is such a spectacular piece of art. Thanks again Tom, you rule.

On development, we've been hard at work with the 3rd new level - its Christmas in Mock Town! A stark contrast from the first two levels, it's time to round up those scoundrel Murkors and show this town who the real sherrif is.
YEEHAW.

It's Christmas of 1849 - and someone real annoying has been stealing toys.

You've yee'd your last haw, partner.
As always, we've been adding a ton of new items that vary up each run. Ontop of new skills, weapons and abilities, we're adding in new stat changes that can drop. Shield regen speed, elemental resistance, skill and weapon coooldown, speed, damage block.....you get the idea.
The aim is always to make each run feel new and unique, so adding in a variety of new stat changes mid-run helps this, as well as allows for greater build diversity.

We've been adding in some variance to run missions and quests, adding in new occourances in each level. This should keep you all nice and busy while you're getting murdered by adorable Murkors. Or while you figure out whatever on Earth is going on with this.....

We've also been hard at work creating the new character and how that will operate in the world. We want to ensure play and build diversity, as well as synergy between players - so we are working hard at making sure new characters feel unique and different from one another. From different skill kits and weapon loadouts, to different roles in battle. We're trying out a variety of options to make sure we settle on something great.

Finally, we want to let you all start creating some chaos in the world - so we're happy to announce we will be realeasing a free demo starting on August 20th! This demo will be accessible on the Steam page, and will only be showcasing the first level of the game. We want to let you all go hands on with Die After Sunset, so this short demo should give you a taste of whats availavble.

Aren't we the best to you guys? Awk, you don't have to say that. But if you do wan't to tell us how great we are, come do it in our Discord or Twitter.
Meet you there!
