Dear All!
As you already know, we were selected among the finalists of Digital Dragons’ Indie Celebration! You can support us with your vote for Community Award (we will know who won tomorrow!) here
Digital Dragons just started (13-14 May), and to celebrate our participation in this prestigious event WE ARE NOW SHARING THE DEMO (BETA BUILD). It will be only available during the Digital Dragons event so hurry up and check the game!!! You will find the demo on our steam page.
The beta build contains the first region of the game - the Wild West. You will have a chance to give some performances, hire new artists, manage your camp and solve a few quests. There will be one limit to your build though. You may reach no more than 21 Fame Stars (these stars help you progress through regions in the game and face the toughest opponents). You can play few times and each time choose a different path.
WHAT’S MISSING IN THE DEMO (IN-GAME CONTENT)?
Although we think this build is already quite enjoyable, please note that there are a lot of important gameplay elements still missing here. Here’s a shortlist of things that will be implemented for the release.
● Voiceovers in dialogues and cut scenes. So, please imagine that characters have voices (Yay!)
● Selected events and quests - events are random encounters happening on the map. Quests are longer plotlines sometimes pointing you to different locations. Both are now being implemented, but not all.
● In the "Train Heist" quest after defeating the pastor and two priest's game stopped on the black screen while loading the screen to the safe opening stage. - game reset needed.
● Iron Will Quirk not working.
● During the Tutorial, you can see screens skipping, for example, the Show screen with the artists’ selection.
● No music during dialogues apart from the first one.
● Unnecessary displaying of the sides of the screen during the Tutorial, which causes many graphical bugs, i.e. highlighting cards with the RMB in the tutorial window.
● During training the names on the cards are of bad quality, some are illegible. You can use RMB to check only 1 card even if there are 2. (card upgrade)
● After loading the game quests vanish from the journal.
● After loading the game twice, quest markers disappear from the map screen and you can't complete active quests.
● After finishing the game there appear End Credits and the game shuts down. After restarting the game we can press Continue, choose a game slot and continue the playthrough after getting 21 fame points. After another successful show it again shows End Credits and shuts down the game, but it can be re-loaded.
● Tickets mechanics lack tutorial and will be strongly improved during closed beta ● Some SFXs are temporary and will be replaced
