Patch Notes - Little Sim World Hotfix 0.54.2
Hello everyone!
Some time ago, we began getting reports that the game was crashing for a few players during the loading screen. At first, we thought it might be a small, isolated issue — but very quickly, it became clear that it was something much bigger, and it was stopping some members of our community from playing altogether.
So our amazing developers deep dove into every report, every log, and every sus line of code. After weeks of bug hunting, we finally think we found the issue!! Toss a cookie to your programmers, they deserve the recognition!
Today’s update comes filled with love, and is the result of very hard work to make sure no one in our community gets locked out of the world we’ve built together.
Now, on to the news!
Graphics Settings
Little Sim World now comes in 4 different graphics settings to better adjust to your computer specs:
Low
Medium
High
Ultra (for the PCs that could probably run Little London itself)
These settings change the render quality and should massively reduce crashes on lower-spec machines. And to help those who might have a hard time figuring out the correct setting for their computers, we also added some Auto-Detect magic!
The next time you launch the game after this update, it’ll run a quick check of your RAM and Disk Space and automatically choose the most stable setting for your computer.
If your PC is on the lower end, the game will automatically pick the safest setting and let you know with a warning.
If even after updating, you're still experiencing crashes, please let us know!
UI Fixes & Updates
Added controller support to Lost Books UI.
Reworked Appraise Fish UI with better visuals and controller support.
General Fixes
You can now click on the Clerks to interact, rather than just the counter.
Fixed building counters being interactable after closing hours.
Attempted a fix for rare crashes that would happen around 5:50AM - 6:00AM. Let us know if this still occurs!
Fixed the "Goth Skirt" displaying the wrong sprite.
Fixed Main Menu Fade.
Please remember to update your game on Steam so the patch can be applied!
