Greetings, Candidates! We're back with another update on our progress. The team is continuing to plug away at the final big obstacles to releasing the game, so there isn't a lot of new and flashy updates. Without further ado, let's jump into it.

We have fun news with regards to our visual effects as Matt has implemented searchlights on some of the game's buildings. You can see greater details, as well as live reactions from the non-coding team, in our most recent livestream but here's a picture as well.
We're pretty happy so far with how this changes the appearance of cities in the game. We want to make both the building of your own cities and the discovery of foreign cities a visually interesting experience. We're still planning to adjust the searchlights, we're just working out the details of what specific adjustments we would like such as color, or angle, or how fast they move.

Jorden has completed the first draft of the script for Tutorial 2, which will appear in the game at Early Access as Prologue 2. As has been mentioned in our dev blogs, the game will have three tutorials at Early Access launch which serve both to teach the player about the game as well as to establish the basic details of Rank: Warmaster's story and the character of Ares. Articy implementation for Tutorial 2 will come later as the Articy import is further developed. This is intended to allow Jorden to avoid having to redo too many things while Arthur works out the details of the import.
