Greetings Candidates! This update will be short and sweet so let's get right into it.
From the coders
In addition to the usual bug fixes, Art has made further progress on the Articy import. The import is a very different kind of program than much of the other game features and so it's difficult to know everything that will be a part of it at the start. As time goes on and new features are added, more problems are revealed alongside the need for features that solve them. We're very excited to show you what kinds of scenarios we can create in the game once the integration is complete.
From the artists
Paul has finished the new Corporation Screen and, as is common when a brand new screen is introduced, is currently reviewing our other screens to ensure they all have a consistent theme to their appearance.
Kathleen is the original creator of the model we use for Ares, which was originally just the "Warmaster Model" back before there was an actual character attached to our tutorials. Originally she drew him with a handful of different poses to use as emotes when he's speaking and we've been limited to those poses. Currently she's working on putting together a 3D rig which could then be more easily re-posed to create whatever emotes we want to accompany Ares's dialogue both in the tutorial and throughout the game's scenarios.
That's all there is this time, everyone is working hard on their tasks to prepare the game for Early Access but that doesn't always come with a bunch of exciting news. Stay tuned for our next post in a couple of weeks.
