This is another hotfix to resolve some final save issues for some players. The underlying issue was always dormant, but it was exposed more frequently by a recent change for more frequent save backups (ironically to prevent save loss due to power outages).
We're very sorry about this and know how frustrating it is to lose save data, so we'll be keeping a tighter eye on this in the future.
If you experienced issues, you can go into ESC -> Help -> Load Backup Save to restore your game to any of the 3 previous states!
v0.14.7.39 Patch Notes
🛠️ General Fixes
- Fixed several save issues
- Fixed a rare issue for very old saves from months ago where employees were not visible in the employee system if you didn't upgrade your employee count (before, employee counts were automatically increased)
- Fixed an issue where an invading player wouldn't save properly before leaving to invade (causing things such as durability to not be saved)
- Fixed a code exception that could occur when attempting to ping the world map in loading screens before the player exists
