While we’re hoping for a white Christmas over here, snow is already falling in Shenzhou: the air is crystal clear, the firs are decorated and a peaceful stillness has settled over the realms. Well, life isn’t quite so quiet in Swords of Legends Online in winter, what with the holidays bringing a fun mash-up of things to look forward to: from 16th December 2021 (end of server maintenance) to 6th January 2022 (6 AM server time), you can enjoy funny minigames, quests and winter rewards exclusive to this event!
Realm of Truth: Driving Snow
This minigame sees five players competing in a fun winter maze. The best bit? You all turn into snowmen! The higher your score at the end of the round, the better your ranking will be. You can get some fantastic rewards in exchange for any tokens you win.
Huaixiu Village: Driving Snow
Experience Huaixiu Village like you’ve never seen it before: covered in snow. Ten players will face off against each other on this battleground – as snowmen again – in a fun PvP match. Hopefully things won’t hot up so much that you start melting!
King of Roast Chicken
For this daily quest, you’ll be heading off to Chang’an to meet Hepi Niuye who’s got a job for you: two brothers are arguing over who’s the true King of Roast Chicken – help them find out who’s earned this title.
The Tree’s New Clothes
You’ll be visiting the Hu-Ren district of Chang’an for this quest. You’ll get a very special treasure map from the merchant in front of the Natural History Academy this time, which will lead you to a hidden, mysterious package. It might contain lost decorations that you need for your Christmas tree.
The Snow Game
Gift certain items you’ve obtained from NPCs to snowmen in the open world. If you give three gifts to the same snowman, you’ll be able to turn into one yourself!
Build a Snowman
Turn into a snowball and roll over any piles of snow you find along the way to get bigger and bigger. Once you’ve gathered enough snow, you’ll be able to finish your snowman.
