Patch version 1.0.6 will bring with it, on Thursday, August 19th, a new summer-themed battleground for you to dabble in! It will be available until the maintenance on September 2nd, 2021.
Duck Fight – Group Fight
Head over to Kunwuzi in Cloudrise – you can find the entrance teleportal to this battleground on the Terrace of the Hanging Sword.
You’ll require the level of Beginner 18 to participate in the matchmaking – either on your own or with a team of like-minded individuals.
The Battleground is available every day from 11:00 until the next day 01:00 in the morning and is accompanied by a variety of quests that grant you some more Shell Coins!
How to play
The Duck Fight functions similar to the Battle Royale map “Lands of Emerald Clouds” – with a couple of twists:
- You can match into the Battleground alone, or with a team (2~5). For each case, you can define “I want to match into other groups” or “my group does not allow others to join”.
- A minimum of 20 players to a maximum of 30 players will participate per round.
- Every player is transformed into a duck and has custom skills to use.
Stack your items
You start with an assortment of items (ammunition, healing potions), and need to open supply boxes (attack them or press F depending on your circumstances) or defeat enemies on the map to get more of them – though do this with a group ideally, as the enemies are relatively strong.
You can get a variety of buffs from the supply crates, such as reduced damage or faster-attacking speed – so be sure to take all you can get.
Stay alive!
Just like in the Emerald Clouds, the map will get smaller in certain intervals – be sure to inform yourself ahead of time about the epicentre of the new zone – or you’ll get damaged in regular intervals should you stay outside of the safe zone.
Once you’re dead, your fight is over – believe in your teammates and trust them to be the last man standing to achieve your victory!
