First of all, hi guys! Instead of excusing myself for the slow progress and updates (because you know the story... homework for college), I will go straight and show you the progress that has been made since our last encounter.
New game zone
Ok, this zone has been in the game for quite a while, but now I want to officially tell you about it (even though it is present in the first trailer of the game). It's the "palm zone", a game zone meant to give kind of a GTA Vice City vibe, something like an drive near the beach or something like that.
Right now it looks something like this:

Because I mentioned GTA Vice City... here's an accurate representation of what PalmRide really is:

The first thing you may notice is that there is a different car sprite (again, I know). It is still work in progress and it's made by our new team member. That's right, we are now 3 guys (one programmer, one artist and one sound guy). You may also notice there is inconsistency in the colors.. that's because some colors were used in the previous version of the zone, and now it's having a reskin.. so... inconsistency in colors.
Passages
I recently player Lotus III and I noticed that there are passages... so I started implementing passages in PalmRide too.. here's what I'm talking about:

Aaand I think that's pretty much it....
Oh wait, there is still one thing I missed. There will be "THE STEAM GAME FESTIVAL SOON" and we want to attend it.. somehow. And for this, we need to have a demo of the game on Steam... so... DEMO COMING SOON.
The demo will feature only the CITY in singleplayer mode. (yes, this indeed means there will be an online daily ranking system in the final game... LET THE BEST PLAYER BE FIRST)
For this the ranking system I mentioned before I will need a database, so here's what I'll do:

Yep, this drake meme is the only one I know works in any situation.. so.. take it or leave it.
As a side note, I kinda am a teacher right now (though I am not paid). I teach some students assembly programming the help them pass the exam. If you guys (students) are reading this, please ping me :). You may ask: what? this is why the game progress is so slow... well.. partly... I think I spend more time working on the game than teaching so.. this shouldn't be much of a problem.
You may ask, how do I teach to students, well.. like this:

That has been it. Keep being awesome, guys :)
