Hey there Atlasers! 😊
Oh boy, do we have a lot to talk about this month. Without further ado…
(View a higher resolution version of the gif)
We’ve added one of the last few outstanding features of Raf’s original demo: crafting! This gif shows Kokopa crafting a crystal core out of a gravity crystal, then adding that core to a pair of boots to make gravity boots. I wonder what else Kokopa and Pollimero might be able to craft with the resources on this new world??
And once you’ve made those impressive gravity boots, you’ve gotta put them on! Which brings us to the reworked inventory screen and selfie-mode. This is where you’ll interact with all the things you’re carrying, as well as change Kokopa’s outfit & equipment.
A small but vibrant addition in the past month is the moon! 🌙
Not much more to say about that… it’s the moon!
And, drumroll please… we’ve gotten the game up and running on the Switch! There’s still a lot of improvements to be made to the game’s performance and it might not run for very long… but it runs and that’s a success!
Plus, as the cherry on top for September, we're up and running with our composer and sound designer Tadej Supukovic for audio for the game! We aren’t quite ready to show off anything just yet, but progress behind the scenes is really exciting, and we’ll be able to share more soon. 🎶
We’re always around on the Kokopa’s Atlas Discord, which you can (& should!) join here.
And last but not least, be sure to wishlist the game on Steam if you haven’t already! It helps more both the game and us, the team, more than you might think. If you wishlist now, or already have, thank you SO much!
See you next month for another update! 👋
