Old age was a very important stage for pre-Hispanic cultures, it was believed that the elderly were those who knew the truth and could transmit it to those around them.
The old men were considered wise, with incredible mental strength. Many times, they fulfilled the role of advisers and guides in celebrations and rituals, always knowing the appropriate moment to act or not to act.
With all references we studied, our artists were inspired to create this concept art of an Elder Sage, a character with a certain mastery over nature and time.
He carries a plume of feathers and natural fibers, he also wears a cloth and fur cloak matching with his maxtlatl, both with wooden and leather finishes. His staff ends with a deer antler.
The Elder Sage can teach the players important lessons inside the universe of Mictlan, help you to summon gods, reveal secrets about nahual transformation and about your journey to the underworld.
