Hi!
Thanks for helping us have a great launch. We're so excited to finally be able to share You Can Pet The Dog VR and all its beautiful, dog-filled goodness with you!
It's not every day that an indie game gets to premiere alongside AAA games, and be introduced by Solid Snake (David Hayter)!
We've had some great feedback so far, as well as some unexpected boosts.
A brief look at what's ahead in an update next week:
- The dog will no longer be able to achieve orbit if the player grabs a toy at the same time the dog picks it up. Thank you to our #dogstronauts who helped us nail down the bug.
- Minor quality of life update including general stability and bugfixes.
- Exploring the possibility of additional animations to have the dog express maximum happiness when petting it.
To set expectations, we don't anticipate bringing major content additions to the game, but anything is possible if the game keeps momentum and is a success.
Thanks again to everyone who showed up for us. We can't wait to see what the future holds!
Now go pet that dog!!!
