Known Issues
- There is still a bug that causes the SteamVR version not to use the Oculus audio by default. This is an open Unity issue I am waiting to be addressed.
Game Adjustments
- Overhauled grabbing mags from the weapons if players choose to use that. It is now a grab and pull mechanic which is more like other games and not a physics drop. Should be much more satisfying.
- Tension music only plays now when there are at least 4 enemies in the vicinity. This makes getting surprised more likely while still adding some dramatic tension, but more importantly it will allow the Mozart perk (when completed later this year) to warn you about nearby guards.
- Tight corridor entryways increased in width slightly to try and help with AI getting stuck next to each other
- Brand new players get 50 coins to start with so they can use the distraction mechanic in a pinch if they wish
- Re-enabled HMD user presence detection to auto pause when headset is off now that the Unity memory leak is fixed.
- Added mini tutorial for hiding bodies
- Menu options now use haptics
- Added cobwebs to hiding spots to make it more believable you cannot be seen :)
- Made it a little easier to get bodies into hiding spots, it was a little tight previously
Bugs Fixed
- Minor fixes to text / spellings
- Music mods should now work again
- Fixed a T-Junction collider that was not quite big enough causing far away enemies being able to see you behind some walls.
- Adjusted some loading screen images which were a little too bright which made it hard to see the loading text
- Corrected a problem in some instances where a death by grenade or booby trap would not cause a black fade out.
- Unity fix for memory leak issue with OpenXR and Oculus on Steam version applied
- Fixed a small gap in hidden areas that could allow an enemy to detect you from another floor
- Teleporting across boobytraps will always set them off now
