Hi!
I thought I would show some of the mechanics / interactions in the game with a couple of dev videos I recorded recently.
Escaping the procedurally generated dungeon requires you to not only find the exit but complete random objectives. These can be collecting or destroying items, but you may also have to photograph items as well. Using a 1938 Leica IIIa I own as a model for interaction, you can pull out this camera at anytime from your wrist to take a photo. It requires you to actually focus the rangefinder just as in the real camera. Simply hold the camera to your face, compose the shot, and focus. This mechanic adds great tension because guards can come in at any time so you need to keep an ear peeled and listen for people approaching. The camera can also be used to take screenshots. Once you complete the dungeon or are killed, any photos you took are shown on a roll of 35mm film.
There are items that can be used for melee as well. These bottles can be used, or even broken and then using the shard as a weapon. Shifting the grip of some of these objects is as simple as pulling the trigger.
