Hi everyone! The team is pleased to announce that Shujinkou has been tested thoroughly on the Steam Deck, with all of its features and inputs working without issue. Players will be able to practice writing Japanese using the Steam Deck's touch screen.
Shujinkou supports up to 4K (3840x2160) resolutions on the Steam Deck.
The FPS is confirmed to hover at 60 FPS throughout the entire experience, and load times are fast, ranging from around 3-5 seconds when entering different major areas in the game.
We've been quietly developing Shujinkou for the last six years, and the title's development is finally coming close to being finished.
Check out our Discord Community if you would like to learn more about Shujinkou, or ask us developers any questions you may have.
Please look forward to more community posts and updates in the coming weeks and months.
Until next time,
Julian
