Happy to release the first iteration of Horrible Mutations, a new feature for the enemies in Run For Your Life.
This initial release gives some enemies a chance to spawn as Uncommon, Rare, and Ultra-Rare. These variants have different visual effects, greater health, speed, and damage. In the future I'll be adding more mechanics to make them even MORE horrible, but for now this feels like a good start. Likely mechanics : drop Junk Points on death, explode on death, ranged attacks, ability to phase through barricades, who knows what else!

To help deal with these new variants, there are also two new weapons being added:
The Greatsword is slow to attack, but deals a hefty amount of damage and knockback force. If you can avoid getting mobbed up on, this thing smashes.

The Beamsword was always inevitable, lets be real. Has a high amount of damage, speed, and knockback, there really isn't a downside to this - but its cost reflects that.

Another little quality of life came about just after I finished the beamsword, and was considering how to deal with different colour versions. Rather than make a dozen or so different coloured versions, I looked into some proper hue-shifting, and bingo bango, now you can recolour any cosmetic you desire. This will play nicely into the rare-cosmetics system which I'll be developing further down the line. When proper Multiplayer game modes become a reality, being able to customize your potato is going to feel pretty good.
I started this week with the hopes of releasing a new Endless Mode map, but got a little side-tracked by colour shifting, so that will be coming in next week's update (along with some level specific enemies).
