Hello!
We put out another patch today, and it covers 3 things.
- We have a volume control in-game now. You can access it from Settings on the Main Menu or from the in-game menu (accessed by hitting escape)
- We slowed down how quickly voters will declare allegiance. Although it's not surfaced yet, voters have an underlying Enthusiasm, and this helps determine if a Voter is undecided or not. The speed at which their enthusiasm was changing was a bit faster than we would like, resulting in some larger swings in the states between turns. We made some balancing changes around how Voters respond to the Events going on in the game, as well as ads from you and the Candidates.
- We tweaked the formula for Ad/Poll costs. It felt like they were a little high for the turn income. State Ads and Poll costs are controlled by their population. Due to that, it can get costly to run an ad in a big state. We could increase your income, but then it would be too easy to spam the smaller states with tons of ads and constant polling. So instead, what we did was we lowered the difference between the Cheapest states and most Expensive states from a 7.0 multiplier to 6.5 and made the cheapest states a bit cheaper.
Thanks for tuning in!
