Greetings travelers, you've arrived in the land of Orbis!
If you're here, you've come across Flame Keeper somewhere in the media or out there on social media today! We couldn't be happier. We've been busy creating a game we think provides a fun, fresh take on the rogue-lite genre.
You're no mage, no warrior, no special divine hero here to change the world. You're a piece of charcoal, one they call Ignis, and mean ol' monsters are here to take over your home, plunge everything into darkness and be all evil like. Well that's happening on your watch, and we've got the announcement trailer right here to prove it:
Like any action filled rogue-lite, there's plenty of fiery combat, but in order to progress past each stage, you've got to collect energy and transfer it back into each level's Fire Camp. Here's the twist: the energy you collect also acts as your health, so it's a delicate balance between deeper exploration and staying alive.
We'll be launching in Early Access in early 2023, and your support will be vital as we continue to flesh out new biomes, enemies, and mechanics and build Flame Keeper. With your feedback, we can target the areas that will help us in crafting the best game we can.
In the meantime, join our Discord below to become part of the conversation and stay tuned! We've got plenty more to share in the weeks and months ahead!
Thanks and speak soon!
