Collision System
So, this are the changes available so far, the collision system can change the gameplay for attack and defense, since animals can't go trough each other anymore, that is for create a more realistic gameplay in the future, especially with big groups where the animal cant share the exact same area with others, river crossing, defense of the nestlings, and so on. But this may cause some bugs with the terrain recognition, lets test it.
Scent Mechanic
Scent mechanic added, little rough but necessary. Now players can see eatable plants (glowing green), carcass and dead bodies (glowing red) by clicking on "Q".
Elephant big hit
Elephant attack box improved, so now it can hit anyone... Thomson's Gazelles be aware!
African Leopard and the future
New tree added for performance and optimization test (it has to do with leopard climbing and future updates)
And the highly anticipated African Leopard was added, male and female, with the basic moves, climbing is not a thing yet, im sorry...that needs vegetation changes to work appropriately so we cant end with a leopard bat in the trees, hanging upside down...we want it to work well and for you to be able to move around up there, jump to specific places, according to the player's will, carrying bodies to the heights and all of this special and good things.
I would like to say that we are taking your suggestions on board, many of them are already part of the plan, but it's nice to see that we are moving in the same direction that you want.
From this update on, we believe Animalia will go through major changes, for the better of course :)
Its a simple update, but each day that goes by, we are closer to get the game we all want. We are very happy with the support of each one of you and with what the future holds for Animalia Survival.
We are also working on the Animalia website, with a forum and members' area.
And the configurations for the Dedicated Servers are almost ready, and we are working to make this happen as soon as possible.
We hope you stay well and continue with us to see what we have in store for you! We can only say Obrigado for now...
