The picture showcases 3 tips to keep in mind when playing CO-OP mode.
SWAT CO-OP
Zero Hour is bringing a CO-OP system trying to achieve the experience of SWAT units with the capabilities and resources at our disposal. We are trying our best to ensure an experience that will encourage players to think methodically through out the mission.
-
OBJECTIVES
In the CO-OP mode, based on the map you decide to play in, will have several objectives that will need to be completed in order to call for extraction. In general, every mission will require you to "Bring order to Chaos" which means you will need to either arrest or neutralize suspects. More objectives can include rescuing multiple hostages, arresting or neutralizing specific suspects and defusing multiple bombs. After all objectives are complete you will need to head to the extraction zone with your team in order to complete the mission.
-
SUSPECTS
Suspects may or may not have patrolling routes that is random every session and can interact with the environment to give it a challenge. They can hide under beds, tables and inside closets. They are capable of taking a hostage and use them as a shield, making it harder for you to engage. Suspects can also surrender based on few criteria. If a suspect is outnumbered from behind they will always surrender. If you are one on one with a suspect, based on the suspect's fear level, they may or may not surrender. Always remember, after dealing with a suspect you will be required to secure the suspect's dropped weapon. Suspects will place door traps and door wedges throughout the map.
-
SCORING
After every completed mission you will be brought to the score menu, where you can see the score of you and your team's performance. Completing all objectives will give you 40 Points and the rest is earned by performing while respecting the "Rules of Engagement". Engaging at a suspect who has not shown any signs of hostility will penalize your score along with triggering traps.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
In order to get the best performance score in CO-OP, you will need to bide by the ROE as follows:
- Authorized to engage at a suspect that has shown any acts of hostility.
- Authorized to engage at a suspect if fired upon.
- Withdraw from engaging at a surrendering suspect
- Withdraw from engaging at a fleeing suspect
- Withdraw from firing at a hostage
- Withdraw from friendly fire
BUG FIXES
Thankfully, Update Part 2 did not bring many bugs, however there were many existing bugs. With Update Part 3 we are fixing technical bugs and reported bugs by the community. We really appreciate everyone heading to our discord server and reporting the bugs that they have found.
PART 3 RELEASE DATE
While our CO-OP system is ready and is already in the testing phase, we want to ensure that this update comes out with the least possible problems. We are trying to ensure everything works consistently so we are delaying the Release of Update Part 3 from "Before October" to "Early October. We are taking the extra few days to improve the CO-OP system as much as possible and we hope you all will cooperate with that decision. Thank you all for your support!
