Two Elements - Fire and Ice are two antagonistic elements that impact the damage or resistance of both the tower floors and the monsters.
You have to develop your magical skills and craft your spells to be able to use all of them. Then you may decide which one - Fire or Ice - will help you survive each night and win the fight.
Remember, you never know if your strategy will still be valid the next night, so always expect the unexpected.
