Hello FreshMen,
I spent a day deciding the price proposal of Season 2 on Steam, and you can see them in the image.
This was how I got to this price:
- The duration of Season 2 is very close to the duration of Season 1.
- The graphic quality is above average, with 4K and 60 FPS support.
- All characters are voiced, except the protagonist (add your own voice while playing)
- After December 2022, all new games had to use a new price suggestion table created by Steam, which had a significant price raise in Brazil, Russia, Turkey and Argentina. This is something out of our control. (read more here: https://steamdb.info/blog/valve-price-matrix-2022-update/ )
- So I decided to offer the same price as Season 1, except for a price increase caused by Steam regional price changes.
What is VAT?
VAT is a tax that we pay the government for each unit sold on Steam. We can't control this tax. Some countries have 0% VAT and others have 25% VAT. The VAT Rate has a big impact on the price per country, so countries with higher taxes will have a higher price. The price is VAT inclusive for most countries, except in the USA and Canada, where the Sales Tax is added at checkout.
Do you think the proposed price is fair? Or is it too high or too low?
