New Content and Improvements Coming Soon in Patch 1.5
Patch 1.5 will introduce fresh challenges and resources for players to explore alongside quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes, making gameplay smoother and more intuitive. Owners of the Keepers of the Stone DLC can access the Ashen Thicket biome right now for testing on the Experimental Branch, allowing players to try out the new biome and strategic choices before it officially joins the Keepers of the Stone DLC later.
Ashen Thicket Biome
Ashen Thicket Once a thriving forest, the Ashen Thicket is now a wasteland, marked by remnants of its former grandeur and an abundance of Thunderblight Shards. This unique biome feature, exclusive to the Keepers of the Stone DLC, introduces the Cornerstone Forge, where players can craft custom Cornerstones using Thunderblight Shards obtained from Dangerous and Forbidden Glade Events.
Cornerstones
Creating Cornerstones In the Cornerstone Forge, DLC owners can create custom Cornerstones by selecting a condition, effect, and optional penalty to enhance the outcome. With randomly rated conditions and effects, each Cornerstone becomes a personalized asset for strategic play.
As a reminder, Against the Storm is part of the Hooded Horse November Publisher Sale at 50% off, and Keepers of the Stone DLC is available at 20% off through November 23rd.
We look forward to sharing more details about the upcoming 1.5 update soon. In the meantime, let us know your feedback if you test the Ashen Thicket biome on the Experimental Branch!
