About our production team, it took about half a year to make this game, but it took 2 years for the company to form a fast-pull bankruptcy, because in a small county where it was extremely difficult to attract talent, we later decided to take full responsibility ourselves, so this This is why the company has only two people.
After all, this is our first time logging into the Steam platform. We don’t know many things, and we have stepped on a relatively large hole in the pricing, and there are some naive promises about us. For some comments that support us, there are also It is revealed that this pricing is basically unsustainable. It is true that they did not anticipate. Our sales volume is very bleak. In addition to this pricing error, we basically have no basic life security, but we have seen a lot of games on Steam that say that the game is running. I assure you fans here that we will do our best to produce works that we think can be considered good, and the two king knights we originally planned to release this month: neither Catalina nor Alice Qing The expected effect is limited to my artistic skills, especially related to special effects. The art of this game is basically the responsibility of me alone, including many special effects, including some open source art resources, and I have only been learning to paint for about 3 months, which means that we were all in the beginning of this game coding, and the program is written by weky independently.
Of course, when we say here, we really don’t want to sell miserably, but want to tell our supporters a message about our situation, because weky is a father, and I am also over 30 years old, basically making games full-time at home, there will be a lot of daily life Trivial things, sometimes even some small conflicts in the family will make us collapse directly, for example, we can’t work normally for a day, but we will not leave that hometown. The original intention is that we can continue to stick to our favorite game industry in our hometown. , Because there is really no such company here for us to work or have normal income.
Finally, our two people have very different views on the game recently, maybe because we did not meet the expected reasons for solving our lives, or it may be that the new chapter does not make the game different from the kingdom rush as we imagined. Feature, weky believes that we can't make repetitive, low gameplay new levels, so maybe it will take a long time for us to temporarily stop updating this game. But we will never abandon the pit.
So for this disagreement, we are now going to make the games that we think we like the most, so now even if there are only two people in the production team, we are also starting to make two new games, so probably after the new game is completed, Will come back to continue to develop this new version.
"Goblin of Attack" is a tower defense gameplay. When we wrote the code, especially the expansion of the core combat system is very poor. In order to make the battle look normal, the basic monsters are locked and stopped moving to change the state. The aircraft is fighting, so the idea of making a flying attack, the player directly operating the hero character, etc. have basically been overturned, so we have been studying whether there can be a breakthrough gameplay change (although now it is estimated that the new breakthroughs are basically only It is limited to this battle logic. If it is changed, it is no less than making a brand new game), we have not felt the appeal of the new chapter, but more importantly, we are not too sure about the new chapter. If you are not satisfied, can you sell the game a little more?
Finally, I want to explain the reason of our announcement again. We are not trying to sell you so that you can promote more selling points. We know that the game is well-made, and steam will naturally be promoted. After that, we will adjust the price again. For recent purchases at a high price stage We are very grateful for the users, and for every friend who bought and supported us, we are very sincerely grateful. We have been working hard until we are on steam for the first time let us know that others agree with their games Happiness, although this beginning is not perfect.
For iterative development, if the number of users is insufficient to maintain our minimum daily life guarantee, we are likely to issue a sequel or DLC. This is hoped that players will understand that only by living can we not abandon the pit, but the differences in the status quo, We choose to make our own works, mainly to verify and satisfy our own satisfaction of fun games, so only if our respective views are certified by steam users, can we know whether we are doing right, In the future, we can better play the theme of "Goblin of Attack".
Although the ideal is very full and the reality is very Skinny, we cannot continue without these of you who support us.
Thank you again for your support and encouragement.
