Hi peeps! To give you a little insight into our charity event, we will share some facts about the regions you can vote for. Let’s check out North America, Europe and Asia todayːsteamhappyː.
- In North America One Tree Planted is supporting several projects in various US states, across three Canadian provinces, and in Mexico. The focus is on restoring forests after major wildfires and repairing damage caused by industry and resource extraction.
- There is a growing number of projects in Europe. One Tree Planted supports their partners in re-establishing woodland, improving water and soil quality, and creating habitat for wildlife. The tree planting projects are located in Spain, Romania, Iceland and Denmark.
- In Asia, One Tree Planted works together with their partners to rebuild the habitat of critically endangered species like orangutans, tigers, and more than 1,700 species of birds. The supported projects help to create jobs and provide sustainable, long-term income for communities. The different projects are located in India, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
Next week we will introduce you to the other regions, so stay tuned and don’t forget to cast your vote in our pinned discussion! Have a good one and take care!
