The Adventures of Crackhead Jack: Overdose Edition is 50% off as part of the new annual Spring Sale until March 23!
The Steam Deck also happens to be 10% off. To celebrate, I've put together a short gameplay video of the game running on Deck.
- Proton version: 4.11-13 (the game will launch with a black screen on any newer version)
- Steam Input configuration: Gamepad (Steam template)
- Performance Settings: 5W TDP limit
- (in-game) Resolution: Original
- (in-game) Text SE: Off ("On" causes significant stuttering)
With these settings, Bluetooth on, and 50% brightness, I get an average of 4 hours of battery life. You could probably optimize further for 5-6 hours if you cap framerate and TDP even more. If you're fast, you could complete the game on a single charge!
If you have a Steam Deck and the game, please report your findings on ProtonDB!

If you enjoy the game's music, I suggest you get the Game + OST bundle - all of those sales go towards the artists. While on sale, it's quite the bargain!
