Hello, Loyal Shields!
First off, Happy New Year! 🎉
We know you've been eagerly awaiting updates on Shields of Loyalty. I want to thank you for your patience over the past month. As many of you know, I recently moved to Germany and had some personal matters to sort out. Now, I'm back, and I’m here to reignite the excitement as we march closer to our anticipated release!
Let’s address the big question:
Yes, our plan is to have a release window between March and April 2025. Rest assured, our team is fully committed to delivering the game you've been waiting for. Thanks to our newest developer, progress has sped up considerably!
Exciting Updates:
Beta-Tester Branch:
A big update just dropped for the beta branch and is just around the corner! Newly added spells have been implemented and are waiting for testers.
The Third Island and Faction:
Our team is working at full speed to bring this final piece of the game to life.
Lore Pieces:
I’ll continue sharing short story texts soon to enrich the world of Shields of Loyalty and finalize the story of Nobleman Aglovan.
In the coming weeks, we’ll share:
Spell animations (GIFs below!).
New insights into the third island.
And a major announcement before the end of January.
For now, here’s a taste of the spell animations you’ll soon see in action:
Locust Swarm:
Unleash a devastating swarm of locusts, dealing area damage to all enemies caught in its path.
Thorns:
Pierce a single target with razor-sharp thorns, delivering precise and deadly damage.
Hope:
Empower an ally with radiant energy, boosting their stats and turning the tide of battle.
Finally, I’m opening the gates for new Beta Testers! If you’re interested, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for your unwavering support and trust. We’re dedicated to making Shields of Loyalty everything you’ve dreamed of—and more. Let’s make 2025 our year!
Cheers,
Charlie, Community Manager
