It's out
Beta week is done. Hundreds of terrible fake lyrics were written, several were disturbingly convincing, and a pile of bugs got squashed along the way. Thank you to everyone who played the beta.
Here's what's now live for everybody.
Community Playlists & the Playlist Editor
The big one. Build your own playlists, import songs, and share them with your friends or with everyone. Emo night, 2000s reggaeton, songs only your cousin knows. If you can imagine a lobby losing its mind over it, you can build it at editor.vsurf.live.
Animated tutorial
New players get the rules in about a minute, with actual moving pictures instead of a wall of text. Fewer "wait, so what do I do?" moments in round one.
Answers shown during the speed round
The correct lyrics now appear as the speed round plays out. No more finishing the round with no idea what you just got wrong.
Rebuilt score UI
Watch your scores come alive with a refreshed UI and satisfying new animations.
Better song timings
Clips start and stop where they should. Fewer awkward half-words, more fun reveals.
New Official Playlists — every month
Fresh sets are in this build, and new ones will land every month from here on. Community Playlists on one side, Official Playlists on the other. Plenty to play with.
