What is GUN JAM?
GUN JAM is an intense rhythm first-person shooter game, where the player must shoot to the beat to survive. Set in the vibrant city of ‘Mubel’, the music will help choreograph the combat while players obliterate enemies by blasting to the beat. You’ll need to make your way through the map before time runs out…
GUN JAM has had a tonne of development over the last year or so and has been in the making for a long time. You might remember when Dan Da Rocha, our Studio Head, dropped a little tease around the core gameplay on Twitter back in April 2020.
It really has evolved since then and we can’t wait to show you more soon!
Developers
GUN JAM is being developed by our studio, Jaw Drop Games and has had a dedicated team working on it since 2020, with early versions being concepted from 2018. Without a doubt, this game is going to be a mad dash of beautiful chaos to play. We cannot wait to get a gameplay teaser out to you soon.
Publishing deal
Our biggest news today - we’ve partnered with Raw Fury! We’re beyond excited to launch our game with this partnership. We’ll have more news on the release date and platforms soon.
GUN JAM’s development
We’ve pumped in a lot more consideration into the art direction, narrative and characters over the past year or so. While on the surface it looks different, the concept behind the core gameplay mechanics remains the same. We’ve just been spending some time finessing it. So, whether you prefer to play with a controller or a keyboard and mouse, we’re putting in a lot of effort to create a seamless experience. Without a doubt, music will play a key role in GUN JAM. Our composer is mixing up some killer beats for you to jam to, alongside writing some irresistibly catchy lyrics.
