Greetings, associate!
In our previous communiqué, we've talked about several types of futuristic weapons — each more amazing and devastating than the last. Today, we're going to talk about the Plasmathrower.
While there isn't a working prototype available in the real world, development has been underway and making strides for almost fifty years.

Plasma is the fourth state of matter. It is highly susceptible to magnetic fields and has a very high temperature. The operating principles of the plasmathrower are the same as those of other electromagnetic mass accelerators (gauss rifles and railguns), but it accelerates ionized gas instead of metal shots.
Plasma is characterized by a temperature of 8,000 degrees Celsius and is most often encountered in nature when you look at lightning strikes, or directly at the sun (don't do this without protection!). These impressive examples of nature demonstrate how difficult it is to construct and handle such weapons.
Currently, we use plasma cutters for cutting metals. These machines, which consume a lot of energy and are highly hazardous if mishandled, can cut through thick layers of sturdy material and are used in the construction of spacecraft.

As you may have already realized, the plasmathrower is the most powerful firearm in the game. It can easily burn through any cover; only very high-quality armor can stop its fiery stream. To defend against enemies wielding such powerful weapons, you must invest in the development and creation of exoskeletons, or use rare and unique resources to create body armor or cuirasses.
But even those may not be enough to save you. The reactor of the plasmathrower can be upgraded and enhanced if you have extra uranium or a few rare alternative resources obtained during your adventures. The enhanced plasmathrower is capable of incinerating enemy armor and whoever's wearing it, no matter what their defenses are.
The inventions left by your forebears may help you create an unstoppable armor-piercing weapon. However, the soldiers wielding such weapons receive an impressive electric shock upon firing, which leaves them vulnerable for some time.
More info about the game's development coming soon. Stay put, associate ;)
Respectfully,
Revival: Recolonization Team
