Hi everyone!
So the game Alchemic Beasts has been in development for about a year, on and off. For the year, we have been contemplating, discussing, arguing about, and debating whether we should have the leading beast walk on the map with the player. Seeing as there are over 200 unique beasts, it might be a daunting task. Then we tried it with the starters and fell in love! They just follow you around, but it’s so cool!
Even though we are all in love with the idea, we are still deciding whether it is necessary because this is just 6 out of a huge bunch that would need to be made. I’m all for it, but I am not a pixel artist and sometimes they look at me like I’m crazy. I am just thinking of the possibilities… Like a chao garden kind of place where you can interact with and see how all of your beasts are doing when they are not in your party. Make them fight each other and other cool little minigames specifically involving the beasts. I just have to get them to see my vision!
What do you think? Do you all like when the beasts follow you as you explore the world? Let us know!
