If you haven’t already preloaded, go ahead and start your download before you keep reading. No codes are needed—just pick your platform and start downloading!
Let’s quickly run through when you’ll be brawling, where you’ll be brawling, and how you’ll be brawling (we’ll leave the why you’ll be brawling up to you). We’ll also link to previous blogs with extra info if you want to know everything there is to know heading into your fights this weekend.
BETA DETAILS
The beta kicks off now!
- Start Time: April 2 at 9 a.m. ET / 6 a.m. PT / 3 p.m. CEST / 10 p.m. JST
Servers will stay up until Sunday evening.
- End Time: April 4 at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT / 3 a.m. CEST / 10 a.m. JST
In that time, you’ll get to check out two of our 3v3 Playlists (Team KO and Diamond Dash), along with our 1v1 Face-Off Playlist. More details on specific start and end times for each Playlist can be found here, and details on each of these game modes are available here. Get your friends together and settle your disputes in Private Matches, too, available for the first time in this Cross-Play Beta in each of this weekend’s available Playlists.
If you play your cards right, you’ll be ruling four different locations around the city: Rooftop Rumble, Concussion Yard, Knockout Roundabout, and the new Back Alley Brawl map. Get the scoop on every map here.
In addition to the basic dodgeball, take the time to master four unique Special Balls: the Moon Ball, Bomb Ball, Cage Ball, and recently announced Sniper Ball. Prepare for your battles by reading up on every ball here.
DODGEBRAWL IN STYLE
This weekend, you’ll get your first up-close look at Epic rewards. These add a little extra flair over the previously available Rare rewards. Read through our write-up on Knockout City customizations here to get a better idea of how to make your style show through when you’re playing.
That’s not all—if you play this weekend, you’ll get an exclusive Epic Glider and Player Icon to use when the game launches on May 21 as a thank you for checking out the beta.
