Developer notes:
WELCOME TO EARLY ACCESS! Superior has been our labor of love for the last two and a half years, and we’re all tremendously excited to finally get it into your hands today. We have big plans for new features and content that will be added to the game over the coming months, and we look forward to making the best game possible with you! We’ll kick off the collaboration by sharing our roadmap.
Early Access Roadmap:
| Winter 2022 | |
|---|---|
| Early Access Launch | Welcome to Superior’s Early Access! We are launching with a ton of content right out the gate: 5 power sets, 3 playable characters, 40 weapons, 26 mobs, 6 bosses and more. |
| The Growth Update | This update is massive! A whole new alternate earth to explore with new bosses, new powers, and new environments. We’ll also be raising the level cap to level 30 and adding the new Infamy system. |
| The Turret Update | Unlock new strategies with deployable turrets, and special augments that allow you to configure completely new builds. |
| The Melee Update | We have some big plans for taking the melee system to the next level in the core combat loop. |
| Spring 2023 | |
| Offworld Update | This will take us to a whole new world! New boss “The Bulk Bros”, new powers “Duo Powers”, and new environment, “Offworld”. |
| The Renegade Update | The first of many new characters will be added to our roster. The Renegade is a close combat bruiser who draws in his enemies with Taunt abilities and takes them out with shotguns. |
| The Ambush Update | This update introduces randomly roaming boss ambushes and team-ups, new ways to synergize your abilities and weapons, and significant item and weapon expansions. |
| Summer 2023 | |
| The Robot Uprising Update | Explore a new alternate earth ruled by our robot overlords. New environments, objectives, powers, playable characters and adversaries will appear throughout the summer! |
We’re looking forward to going into way more detail about all of this very soon, but for now, we wish you luck hunting down your first super heroes!
