We know you've been waiting for a long time (♫ a long time now ♫) for the launch of The Longest Road on Earth. The wait is over! Our game is now live on Steam, iOS, and Android!
We can't thank our supporters enough, from the early days of Kickstarter to everyone that has been adding it to their Steam wishlist over the last few months to everyone who buys it today and onward! It's not been easy to develop a game about the connections that people share in a time that we're all so isolated, but we hope that spending time in the lives of our everyday characters will help you heal - it's certainly done that for us.
For anyone that wants to pick up the soundtrack after the fact (though, we highly recommend grabbing it in the bundle ahead of time to save yourself some time -wink- ) we are happy to announce our partnership with Sony Music Soundtracks who are going to be distributing the album! You can head to their page here.
Our soundtrack is now on Spotify! Add songs to your playlist today: https://open.spotify.com/album/6XdUnhMh6kcTqCf4WWgl2i?si=3B01f7GmR8eRLmHzA_aUcg
The Longest Road on Earth is a part of the Save and Sound Festival on Steam, starting today! This festival focuses on the music of videogames, and we've got a great video that will be playing on Raw Fury's feature block starting around 11:30am PT/2:30pm ET/8:30pm CET. Visit saveandsound.io for the full schedule!
Check out some really cool videos from us and others from the Raw Fury family:
- The Longest Road on Earth - The developers at Brainwash Gang take viewers through the last chapter of their game, chat about making a game that focuses on music, and include an acoustic version of "The Shape of Clouds"
- Atomicrops - Joonas Turner takes us through the found-object music creation process he used to create the Atomicrops soundtrack
- Star Renegades - Composer Steve London breaks down what it takes to score a rebellion
- Kathy Rain - Daniel Kobylarz discusses how music heightens the game experience and his return to the Kathy Rain universe 5 years after its initial release
- Call of the Sea - Composer, Eduardo dela Iglesia talks about the inspiration behind Call of the Sea and conducts an orchestra in a live performance of the soundtrack
