Ahoy everyone!
We are moving ahead with the development process
Check out our new gameplay teaser!
So far, we have:
Added a new unique ship
Revamped our in-game UI systems and finally implemented our interface elements
Improved controls responsiveness for mouse and keyboard, and for gamepads
Improved our visuals - ship VFX, main menu, and damage visualization
Lots and lots of invisible work behind the scenes - little to show, great impact on development
New Playable Ship - White Swan
A new, unique ship that needs to be unlocked via a quest
This ship belonged to Cygnia, the High Priestess of the Mallard Order. Only those worthy of her legacy will have the right to set foot on its deck!
The concept for this ship has been around for quite a while. Initially, it was planned only as an ally.
But we heard your request to add more playable ships, and we will!
At least a dozen more are yet to come :)
Controls, Interface, UI
Major improvements to the gameplay experience:
Smoother movement and aiming controls
Detailed and more convenient Ability Panel display
Now you can switch between different Crew Layout presets by numeric keys (1-9), or via D-Pad left/right on the gamepad
Improved dialogue display system - both interactive and non-interactive dialogue
Improved ship's hull integrity and damage dealt indicators
Added the Energy mechanic - every attack and ability now costs Energy. Use it wisely!
Major main menu overhaul
Improved background scenery visuals
Improvements in balancing - close-range weapons deal significantly more damage now
Improved handling with magnetable items
Bug Fixes
Pausing the game no longer disrupts the aim input
Popping dialogue windows don't block input now
Fixed the bug when Moby the Shark boss got stuck inside the electric wall
Fixed the issue that caused enemy weapons to damage themselves
Partially fixed frame drops when firing from multiple cannons or using the Barrage ability
Fixed the bug that sometimes prevented force shields from regenerating
