Hey everyone! The summer's been hot, the cicadas loud, and UNBEATABLE [white label] gets a new patch!
PATCH NOTES:
- (SIDE A TRACK 1) An additional tutorial featuring Proper Rhythm has been added to help ease new players into the game, accessible on fresh story saves! It is skippable if you open the pause menu.
- (SIDE A TRACK 1) The text when selecting Familiar's "UNBEATABLE" difficulty has been changed from "SKIP TUTORIAL" to "HARD MODE"
- (RHYTHM) We have added a GAME OVER screen upon failing a level, which should really emphasize how much you've game over'd.
- (EXPLORATION) The game no longer crashes when you exit the Memory cutscenes.
- (BEATMAPS) Forever When is now playable in all difficulties! These are still very tough, so don't try this level without having practiced the other ones!
- (BEATMAPS) The NOISZ Crossover tracks have had adjustments to their metadata / track name.
- (MENU) Added the option to toggle the game's rumble. There're three options: AUTO (rumble is on if you play on controller), ALWAYS (rumble is always on even if you're playing on keyboard), and OFF (self-explanatory)
- (QOL) A duplicate controller preset has been replaced with a new one. Hope you like to DASH.
- (MISC.) A metadata error was fixed in the .flac version of UNBEATABLE: DEMO TAPES
KNOWN ISSUES/THINGS ON THE PIPELINE:
- We're almost done with custom keybind implementation! That will be in soon, we swear.
- The ability to customize color-coding for all enemy types is in development too!
- We'll be monitoring feedback about the new Forever When beatmaps, so should they arise expect changes to them!
