Join Us to Make Big Change for All Kids
Team ArenaNet is preparing for our annual Extra Life event and you're invited to join us! Extra Life is a fundraising program in support of Children's Miracle Network: a network of 170 nonprofit children's hospitals throughout the United States and Canada.
Thanks to the support of events like Extra Life, these hospitals treat over 12 million children every year, and we're proud to be part of that alongside you, our community. As always, when Team ArenaNet reaches $25,000 in direct donations to Children's Miracle Network, ArenaNet will match the amount, instantly doubling the donation total to $50,000!
This year, we're splitting up our game day livestream into two separate events. We'll be live on our Twitch channel from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time (UTC-8) on both Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14. Members of our development teams will be livestreaming Guild Wars® and Guild Wars 2® gameplay, with challenges, giveaways, and surprises throughout the event.
In-game Events
We'll be celebrating Extra Life in Guild Wars 2 from November 10 until December 1. When you log in during this time, you'll receive the title "The Extra Life" if you didn't unlock it in previous years.
During the event, the Extra Life Bonus will be active in-game for all players:
· +5% magic find
· +5% experience from all sources
· +3% WvW reward-track progress
· +3% PvP reward-track progress
This bonus will stack for every $10,000 USD in direct donations to Team ArenaNet. To activate the current stack and see the current donation total, pay a visit to Lion's Arch when you log in.
New Extra Life Bundle Coming Soon to the Gem Store
The 2026 Extra Life Donation Bundle will be available in the Gem Store from November 10 until December 1. The bundle contains five Extra Life Karma Boosters, five Temporary Selfless Potions, and the all-new Extra Life Balloon Toy.
Players can also purchase additional Extra Life Karma Boosters separately. If you missed last year's Mini Guardian Angel Blish, we'll be making the 2025 bundle available again this year as well! Purchasing any of these items will also grant you the in-game title "The Extra Life" in blue text. All proceeds from these purchases will be donated to Extra Life!
