Greetings, Pilots-
The days are getting longer, the temperature is dipping, and there’s a crispness to the air. The arrival of fall means it’s time to break out your favorite vest, and find all the things in the pockets you forgot about since you packed it away when spring came around. We wonder what Oscar might find in his favorite fall garb, which you can earn in this week’s event.
Running from 10/17 at 12PM PDT through 10/18 12PM PDT, you’ll be able to battle it out with your fellow Volta pilots in a 24-hour leaderboard challenge event. Those of you who finish in the top spots will acquire Oscar’s casual look, along with some Credits. Those who finish outside the top tier will have a chance to earn additional Credits, along with some incredibly valuable resources.
- Tier 1 Winners: Oscar Costume, 80 Credits
- Tier 2 Winners: Kaiju Brainstem (x1), Uranium (x2), 60 Credits
- Tier 3 Winners: Uranium (x2), 40 Credits
- Tier 4 Winners: Engine (x4), 20 Credits
While we welcome pilots of all skill levels, we’re adding a little challenge to the mix by restricting participants from using the following equipment for this event: the Repair Bot, the Medical Bot, and the Shield. Undoubtedly, you still have plenty of armaments to make an impressive loadout, but your opponents will also be just as clever.
The WVA will continue to host events like this in the future, so stay tuned for regular updates on when and where you’ll be able to play, and more importantly, what you’ll be able to win. Good luck to all who enter.
