Greetings, Pilots-
This week’s Costume Event is real hip, and gives us a chance to shine the spotlight on one of the World Volta Association’s coolest crew members, Frederik. This vintage look is definitely not straight out of Squaresville, daddy-o. You might even say Frederik is looking mighty slick.
Running from 10/24 at 12PM PDT through 10/25 12PM PDT, you’ll be able to battle it out with your fellow Volta pilots in a 24-hour leaderboard challenge event. Those of you who finish in the top spots will acquire Frederik’s letterman look, along with some Credits. Those who finish outside the top tier will have a chance to earn additional Credits, along with some incredibly valuable resources.
- Tier 1 Winners: Frederik Costume, 80 Credits
- Tier 2 Winners: Georeactor (x1), Kaiju Cocoon (x2), 60 Credits
- Tier 3 Winners: Kaiju Cocoon (x2), 40 Credits
- Tier 4 Winners: Battery (x4), 20 Credits
While we welcome pilots of all skill levels, we’ll be disallowing the following equipment for this event: the Electric Bolt, the Electric Beam, and Shock Punch. You’ll have to generate more attack wattage some other way, but so will your opponents. Think smart if you want to come out on top this week.
The WVA will continue to host events like this in the future, so stay tuned for regular updates on when and where you’ll be able to play, and more importantly, what you’ll be able to win. Good luck to all who enter.
