Greetings, Pilots-
The only thing better than doing the robot is being the robot. While our heroic Volta pilots spend a great deal of their time inside our magnificent machines, Benny is taking things to the next level with his new costume. Coming in this week’s event is a clever homage to one of our favorite Voltas, the Raiden. Now you’ll be able to ride in a Raiden while dressed like a Raiden, and hopefully ridin’ to victory.
Running from 11/07 at 12PM Pacific through 11/08 12PM Pacific, you’ll be able to battle it out with your fellow Volta pilots in a 24-hour leaderboard challenge event. Those of you who finish in the top spots will acquire Benny’s rockin’ Raiden costume, along with some Credits. Those who finish outside the top tier will have a chance to earn additional Credits, along with some incredibly valuable resources.
- Tier 1 Winners: Benny Raiden Costume, 80 Credits
- Tier 2 Winners: Cosmic Spore (x1), Feeler (x2), 60 Credits
- Tier 3 Winners: Feeler (x2), 40 Credits
- Tier 4 Winners: 8-bit Circuit (x4), 20 Credits
Pilots from any skill level are welcome to enter, but to make things more challenging we’ll be banning the following equipment for this event: the Drill Hand, the Tomahawk, and the Mega Fist. Good thing we recently added in four new weapons for you to explore, adding even more strategy to the mix.
The WVA will continue to host events like this in the future, so stay tuned for regular updates on when and where you’ll be able to play, and more importantly, what you’ll be able to win. Best of luck to those who participate.
