Greetings, Pilots-
This week, the World Volta Association is shaking things up. We’ve had a lot of fun giving out alternate costumes for our pilots, but we want to up the stakes a little this time. That’s why this weekend’s limited event will be awarding its top finishers with the incredible Wyvern Volta frame.
Yes, that’s right. We’re giving you an opportunity to build out your hangar a bit more with this week’s Wyvern event. With its transformative flight abilities, the Wyvern is a challenging Volta to pilot, but one that rewards capable crews with a formidable frame that can stand strong against any opposition.
Running from 12/12 at 12PM Pacific through 12/13 12PM Pacific, you’ll be able to battle it out with your fellow Volta pilots in a 24-hour leaderboard challenge. Those of you who finish in the top spots will unlock the Wyvern frame in full, along with some Credits and additional resources. Those who finish outside the top tier will have a chance to earn additional Credits, along with some incredibly valuable resources.
- Tier 1 Winners: Wyvern Frame*, Kaiju Brainstem (x1), Hypercharged Plasma (x2), 80 Credits
- Tier 2 Winners: Kaiju Brainstem (x1), Hypercharged Plasma (x2), 60 Credits
- Tier 3 Winners: Hypercharged Plasma (x2), 40 Credits
- Tier 4 Winners: Battery (x4), 20 Credits
We welcome pilots of any skill level to take on the challenge, but just know the WVA will be eliminating some parts from play. Your loadouts for this event will be prohibited from using: the Shock Punch, the Electric Bolt, and the Electric Beam. Even without those parts at your disposal, we know you’ll come up with some impressive builds. That Wyvern is worth it.
The WVA will continue to host events like this in the future, so stay tuned for regular updates on when and where you’ll be able to play, and more importantly, what you’ll be able to win. Good luck, and see you in the arena!
*After winners claim the Wyvern frame at the conclusion of the event, the game must be restarted before it can be used in battle.
