Greetings, Pilots-
Our regular costume events have been focused on so many of our favorite crew members, we almost forgot about giving respect to two of our most beloved characters, Ian and Lisa. No matter which of the two protagonists you selected at the start of your Volta-X experience, this weekend’s event will give you an opportunity to earn a fantastic new Volta-themed suit for either one!
If you’re currently captaining a crew with Ian, you’ll be able to earn his fierce Warrior look to inspire the rest of the team to never give up. If you’re leading with Lisa, her Brocken outfit will be sure to shock any teams that get in her way. You’ll only get the costume for your particular lead, so if you plan on going hard this weekend, make sure you have the save with your preferred protagonist loaded up before entering!
Running from 11/14 at 12PM Pacific through 11/15 12PM Pacific, you’ll be able to battle it out with your fellow Volta pilots in a 24-hour leaderboard challenge event. Those of you who finish in the top spots will acquire either Ian’s Warrior or Lisa’s Brocken, along with some Credits. Those who finish outside the top tier will have a chance to earn additional Credits, along with some incredibly valuable resources.
- Tier 1 Winners: Ian/Lisa Costume, 80 Credits
- Tier 2 Winners: Kaiju Brainstem (x1), Jet Fuel (x2), 60 Credits
- Tier 3 Winners: Jet Fuel (x2), 40 Credits
- Tier 4 Winners: Diamond (x4), 20 Credits
Pilots from any skill level are welcome to enter, but to make things more challenging we’ll be banning the following equipment for this event: the Drone Launcher, the Generator, and the Shock Punch. Better make sure you’ve got a great loadout ready if you hope to come out on top this weekend.
The WVA will continue to host events like this in the future, so stay tuned for regular updates on when and where you’ll be able to play, and more importantly, what you’ll be able to win. Best of luck to those who participate.
