Greetings, Pilots-
After a weekend chock full of impressive battles, we’re back again with another costume challenge. This week, we’ll be offering all players an opportunity to earn Irma’s casual look, complete with oversized sweater and a beanie to keep her toasty warm this season. You’ll have to bring your own Folk records to listen to and hot beverages to drink though.
Running from 12/5 at 12PM Pacific through 12/6 12PM Pacific, you’ll be able to battle it out with your fellow Volta pilots in a 24-hour leaderboard challenge. Those of you who finish in the top spots will unlock Irma’s warmest wearables, along with some Credits. Those who finish outside the top tier will have a chance to earn additional Credits, along with some incredibly valuable resources.
- Tier 1 Winners: Irma Costume, 80 Credits
- Tier 2 Winners: Cosmic Spore (x1), Kaiju Cocoon (x2), 60 Credits
- Tier 3 Winners: Kaiju Cocoon (x2), 40 Credits
- Tier 4 Winners: Engine (x4), 20 Credits
Pilots from any skill level are welcome to enter, but to make things more challenging we’ll be banning the following equipment for this event: the Repair Bot, the Medical Bot, and the Shield. The challenge then falls to you to figure out how to protect your crew from oncoming attacks without many of these defensive parts.
The WVA will continue to host events like this in the future, so stay tuned for regular updates on when and where you’ll be able to play, and more importantly, what you’ll be able to win. Good luck, and see you in the arena!
