Hello everyone! This is moto, the planner from Asteroid Studios.
Another month has flown by, and the July updates for "Esports Godfather" have been compiled. Below is a summary of this month's updates:
1. New Option in Customization: Skip Internet Café Matches
Perhaps the difficulty of the initial stages was too low? Or maybe you want to achieve certain achievements? Now, coaches can choose to skip Internet café matches when starting a new game. After selecting this option, coaches can skip these matches and begin their new journey directly from the amateur league.
2. New Hero "Nihil"
Leech-like is a hero whose form varies based on their health percentage. Are coaches satisfied with their performance in matches? For specific hero information, please click here.
3. MOD Related
To assist coaches in better utilizing mods from the workshop, we've added an in-game MOD manager and display for MOD initialization failures.
4. Player Selection and Custom Player Pages Add Rulebook Viewing
Recognizing that not all coaches are familiar with the game rules of "Esports Godfather," both experienced champions and new coaches can now refer to the rulebook when selecting players.
5. Deletion Functionality for Imported Team Logo Images
Surprisingly, this feature was not available before.
6. New Hidden Inherent Medal
Many coaches have expressed concerns about "fake matches" in BO3 or BO5 series where a team clearly leads but continues to play for player experience. To address this, we've added a new hidden inherent medal— "Early Finish." Now, coaches can confidently sweep opponents.
- Medal: Early Finish: When winning a series with 1/2 games left unplayed, gain 200%/300% ability experience, fan base growth, and hero proficiency experience.
7. Future Updates
Coaches may have noticed that this month's updates are fewer compared to last month. This is mainly because our studio's focus has been on a major update planned for the future. Therefore, the update frequency will slow down temporarily, and we appreciate your patience. I will now reveal some details about future updates here. (Note: The following images are for demonstration purposes and may differ from the actual interface.)
7.1 Player Potential System
Your players will no longer be mere rookies. Each player will have their own potential values. As a coach, you need to unearth their potential, help them find their style, and dazzle in competitions!
7.2 Brand New Player Trading System
Your players have finally realized they have professional aspirations too! When signing players, you'll need to meet not only their signing fees and salaries but also their player demands. After all, not everyone can afford to pay the penalty!
7.3 Venue System
How can you pay your players without income? You need to build your own competition venue to attract fans and sell tickets. Build better venues based on blueprints, attract more fans, and sign more players!
7.4 Player Retirement System
In the player retirement system, your players will have their own professional lives. Even the greatest players will retire one day. As a coach, you should not only focus on the current performance of the club but also its future.
7.5 Scout System
No matter how outstanding a player is, they will eventually retire. As a club coach, you need to plan ahead. The scout system helps you discover potential stars! Based on your requirements, your scout will bring you new trainees or rookies at regular intervals. Unearth their potential and inject new blood into your club!
7.6 Player Personality and Emotional System
Players are not emotionless competition machines. Each player will have their own emotions and personalities. While their performance in matches is important, you also need to consider their mental health.
We expect these updates to be implemented in September due to their extensive content and data additions. Consequently, after the next major update, old game saves will no longer be compatible. We apologize for any inconvenience! Note: Recently, some coaches have reported issues such as crashes and game errors. After investigation, we have identified these as C0000005 errors related to memory and CPU. This issue is related to recent events involving Intel CPUs. Coaches should be able to maintain game stability by reducing CPU frequency by 0.3GHz across all cores. (Lastly, if coaches who previously left negative reviews due to this issue can reconsider and update their reviews, it would be greatly appreciated.)
That concludes the summary of this update. We hope all coaches are looking forward to it!
