We're thrilled to announce the launch of Drone Soccer DLC, an adrenaline-fueled competitive and educational game mode that brings officially recognized drone sport by FAI into your favorite FPV drone simulator.
Drone Soccer is not just a game; it's the future of competitive sport. Take control of your drone ball and compete in an electrifying new sport where flying, passing and scoring happen mid-air.
Where STEM meets sport
Drone Soccer is an innovative team drone sport that originated in South Korea, seamlessly blending traditional football tactics with cutting-edge robotics.
Teams of three or five players control specialized drones, known as "drone balls," which are encased in protective, spherical exoskeletons allowing for full-contact, high-speed collisions.
The objective is to fly a designated scoring drone, the "Striker," through the opponent's circular, elevated goal. The remaining teammates act as guides and defenders, actively ramming and blocking rivals in a high-intensity, three-dimensional arena.
Beyond its appeal as a dynamic spectator sport, Drone Soccer is highly valued globally for promoting crucial STEM skills, as players are responsible for building, programming, and quickly repairing their own aerial machines.
"As proud global equipment providers to the official Drone Soccer organizations, we at ORQA have witnessed the sport's rapid growth firsthand. We are now incredibly excited to bridge the gap between real sport and e-sport, making history as the first company to launch a publicly available Drone Soccer simulator."
